Earth Day 2008
Today, I pledge to try and break my paper towel habit once and for all. I cloth diapered my kids, I clean with vinegar, baking soda and the like, but I just have never been able to give up paper towels. It’s a sickness! I ran out about 10 days ago and haven’t bought any since. Wish me luck.

Kudos to you! I have not given it up completely, but I have cut way, way, WAY back and I also only use recycled paper TP and paper towel now.
Happy Earth Day!

That’s what old rags are for, gf!
I remember my sister coming for a visit once, asking (exasperated) “How can you run a household without paper towels?!?”
You can do it!

I’m a little late, but good luck with giving up the paper towels! Girl, I am addicted to them, ADDICTED. It doesn’t help that my MIL is a damn paper towel enabler and just shows up with cases of them and puts them on my porch.

Meh. I’m addicted too. I use WAYYYY too much for my own good and use them for EVERYYYTHING. I…just..can’t..help it *glances at the roll*

Yes, it can
Dh did kind of forget and bought paper towels when we moved here, and it was so easy to see how, well, easy it is to get using them for every tiny thing. We’ve now been paper towel free again for 3 weeks and it’s really not so bad.
