Fabulous…sorta

So my brother got me these boots for Christmas. They arrived last night. They are amazingly comfortable being Rockports and all, but a little snug in the foot. They’re not too small, maybe a little narrow. I have oddly shaped feet with my toes being way wider than my heels which earned me the nickname “triangle feet” back in my ballet days, lol. I’m trying to decide if I should keep them and hope they’ll stretch out with wearing and be a bit more comfortable, or send them back. Mind you, they were less than a third of the regular cost and are no longer on sale and Amazon doesn’t do exchanges (do they?).

What’s the verdict? I think they’re cute. I’d suck up the pain, lol.

They are cute and I can’t believe your brother picked those out for you. How awesome is he? I think Amazon will give you store credit at least right?

so, did you keep them or send them back? if you keep them, you might be able to help the “stretching” process. i’ve seen those shoe stretcher things here and there. they look like the traditional cedar shoe blocks to help shoes keep their shape, the these have a screwing mechanism that expands a part of the shoe. you can stretch it lenthwise, width at the ball of the foot or the heel of the foot. it’s quite clever really. ….except i don’t know the name. you’ll have to do a little googling to find them i suppose. good luck. the boots are fab.

i just checked amazon. do a search on “shoe stretcher” and you’ll see what i mean. prices range from $16-100.

Yes, I kept them. I’m not going to do the stretcher. I’m just going to wear em for a bit and see how they feel. I’ve worn them twice so far without pain or trouble though.
